ED Exam Newsletter June 13th, 2011

This week at ED Exam we’re trialling some new material.

1) We’re using a new newsletter format for our emails.  If you can’t read it, it crashes your system or the links don’t work, lt us know.

2) New YouTube videos have been uploaded.  If you like the videos let us know.  If you hate them, let us know.  If you know a great educational video, let us know and we’ll put it up.

Check out our quick guide to RSS feeds

This is a must watch for those studying for the 2012.1/2012.2 and beyond exams, those teaching advanced trainees, and FACEMs who want an easy way to stay up to date with the latest in medical literature, and the online medical education world.

A cringe-worthy but very useful video on the Ezy I/O

Talley & O’Connor Examination videos – a must watch for those who will be sitting the clinicals in a couple of months.

We’ve had about 15% of users fill out our poll about what users of the site want, and the second most requested item after practice questions, is study notes.  There is clearly a demand for study notes, but we’ve had very few offers from our rapidly growing pool of members (now over 300!). SO… If you have recently done the exam, or are in the process of studying for it and have categorised study notes on your computer, please drop us an email, and we’ll get them up on the site to share with the rest of the ED trainees in Australia and NZ.

REMEMBER: The succes of this site as a communal repository of information relies on you the user. So please contribute!

That’s it for now, study hard!
